Job Description

This position will support various Weigel’s locations within an assigned region and is responsible for completing assigned duties that are essential in ensuring the location is 100% customer ready. This includes but is not limited to; ensuring delivery of superior customer service, maintaining a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors, and adheres to and enforces all company programs, policies, and procedures.

From $14 – $16 per hour


  • Detail clean the pumps and trashcans
  • Replenish the windshield fluid and blue towels
  • Apply liquid gold to trash cans
  • Pressure wash sidewalks, parking spots and under canopy as needed
  • Detail clean mulch areas, rock beds, and retention ponds
  • Clean and pressure wash the dumpster area
  • Clean Ice machines and propane cages
  • Inspect the canopy, security cameras and lighting
  • Inspect the exterior of the store for any property damage
  • Report any opportunities that may require a maintenance ticket


  • Detail clean the gondola shelving by taking all the product off the shelves and wiping clean
  • Deep clean the restrooms by cleaning light fixtures, urinals, toilets, walls, hand blowers, sinks, vents and replenish all supplies
  • Beverage and beer coolers; detail clean floors, under racks, door ledges, cooling vents, and racks.
  • Stock front and face both beer cooler
  • Clean and organize back stock rooms. This would include cleaning BIB area and hoses
  • Detail clean the FOTG case and ensure coils are wiped clean of dust
  • Detail clean the deli area by removing product from shelves and scrubbing shelves, walls, vents, light fixtures, all stainless-steel appliances and fixtures, mop sink, under coffee cabinets, smoothie station, and floors
  • Detail clean deli freezers and coolers • Report any opportunities that may require a maintenance ticket


  • REQUIRED – High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with guests; properly respond to inquiries or complaints; communicate complaints, requests, operational issues, etc. in a professional, effective and timely manner.
  • Ability to work with other store associates as a team.
  • Basic computer skills – ability to utilize Microsoft windows environment to perform clock in and out procedures and company paperwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and write English; solve practical problems; basic math skills. Follow written & verbal instructions; able to make change accurately.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to stay focused; professional phone etiquette.
  • PREFFERED – Prior retail experience.

  • Walking; standing for long periods of time; work varied hours, nights, weekends and holidays; work in outside weather conditions and extreme cold.
  • Ability to safely use any and all cleaning materials necessary for proper store cleaning; able to operate and use all of the equipment necessary to run the store.
